Nicole Hensley Camp, Littleton

July 28-August 2, 2019 -

Nicole Hensley Girls Hockey Camp Powered by RMHS, Colorado Select Girls Hockey Association (CSGHA), & Foothills Flyers(FHA)

RMHS is excited to announce the first annual Nicole Hensley all Girls Hockey Camp. RMHS, CSGHA, & FHA will be helping Nicole Hensley start her first annual All Girls Hockey Camp at the Edge Ice Arena. This camp will focus on training the female athlete on what it takes to improve their skills both on and off the ice. Nicole will be joined by Hannah Brandt and other top women players from around the country.

Skills, Drills, & Small Area Games (10U, 12U, & 14U Rec Girls) - Group #1
The age groups that we will work with in these camps will be 9 to 14 years of age. As all of us know players under the age of 12 need to work on fundamentals and skills in a fun learning environment.

The skating that will be covered will work on edges, skating stride backward and forward, crossover, stopping, turning, quicker starts, and transitional skating. Puck skills like passing, stickhandling, and over all better control of the puck will be covered in full detail. All of these skills will be taught in full detail. After the skills are improved the staff will show how to use the skills in game situations within small area games and hockey specific drills.
